Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of nursing operations within our organization. This includes providing leadership, guidance, and support to our nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Duties:
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
- Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided, making recommendations for improvement as needed
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical technology, treatments, and best practices in nursing care
- Manage staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow, to include staffing coordination
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and employee engagement

Qualifications:
- Current registered nurse (RN) license
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and healthcare regulation
- Experience in home care or acute care settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills

- Geriatric experience highly desired.

Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour
